The Kilkerran 8 Years Old Campbeltown Single Malt Bourbon Cask Matured 57.7% Vol. 0.7 litre is a powerful Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky from the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. The Kilkerran brand stands for authentic Campbeltown single malt whiskies that are traditionally produced and reflect the characteristic style of this historic whisky region. This bottling is part of the distillery's limited Core Range and is released annually as a cask strength release, with previous editions maturing in different types of cask such as bourbon, port or sherry casks. The current bottling was matured entirely in American oak bourbon casks.


The single malt Scotch whisky was matured in bourbon casks for 8 years and then bottled at a strong 57.7% cask strength by volume. As is typical for the distillery, the whisky is bottled without chill-filtration and without colouring, which means that the natural structure and aroma of the whisky is fully preserved. This philosophy ensures a particularly authentic and intense Campbeltown single malt that combines the maritime flavours of the region with sweet and fruity aromas.
