The Hagn Grüner Veltliner Federflug 2025 11% Vol. 0.75 l is a fresh and elegant Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria that clearly reflects the typical style of this Austrian flagship grape variety. Produced by Weingut Hagn, the grapes come from the Hochlüssen vineyard, whose loamy loess soils offer ideal conditions for aromatic and precise Grüner Veltliner quality wines. Only carefully selected grapes from particularly well-positioned vineyards are used for this vintage, giving the wine its characteristic freshness and elegant structure.


After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and left on the skins for around six hours before being gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at around 18°C and three months of maturation in steel tanks preserve the fruity clarity and varietal flavour of this Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria. With its moderate alcohol content of 11% vol., a recommended serving temperature of 8-9°C and a drinking window of around 2025 to 2028, this Austrian quality wine is light, lively and extremely easy to drink.

Tasting Note

The Hagn Grüner Veltliner Federflug 2025 is clear and brilliant in the glass. A fine fruit spectrum with fresh, elegant nuances unfolds on the nose. On the palate, the wine is light and dry with a lively acidity structure, accompanied by typical flavours of white pepper and green apple. The finish is fresh, lively and long-lasting.

This Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria is ideal as an aperitif and goes very well with light starters, salads, vegetable dishes or classic Austrian specialities.
