El Jimador Tequila Blanco 100% Agave Azul is a classic Mexican tequila from Jalisco, made exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave (Agave Azul). This Tequila Blanco is produced by the traditional Casa Herradura Distillery, one of the oldest and most renowned tequila distilleries in Mexico. The name El Jimador is a tribute to the experienced agave growers, the so-called Jimadores, who harvest the ripe agaves by hand and thus create the basis for high-quality tequila.

Production begins with the careful selection of fully ripe agave azul, the hearts of which - known as piñas - are gently cooked after harvesting to release the natural sugars. This is followed by fermentation and double distillation, resulting in the characteristic, clear and fresh style of a Tequila Blanco. As this 100% agave tequila is not aged in barrels, or only for a very short time, the natural flavours of the agave are particularly well preserved. At 38% vol., El Jimador Blanco is pleasantly smooth and balanced and is suitable both for pure enjoyment and for classic tequila cocktails.

Nose: Fresh agave with citrus notes, light peppery spice and a hint of herbs.

Flavour: Clear and lively with cooked agave, citrus fruits, light sweetness and fine spice.

Finish: Medium length, fresh and pleasantly spicy with citrusy nuances.

El Jimador Tequila Blanco 100% Agave Azul is ideal for classic tequila drinks such as Margarita, Paloma or Tequila Sunrise, as its fresh agave flavour comes into its own particularly well in cocktails. This Mexican tequila blanco can also be enjoyed neat or slightly chilled. In culinary terms, it harmonises particularly well with Mexican dishes such as tacos, ceviche, grilled meat or spicy salsas, ideally complementing the fresh and spicy notes of this agave tequila.
