The Frauwallner Lilli Rosé 2025, 10.5% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a fresh and modern Austrian rosé wine from Styria, which impresses with its lightness, fruitiness and easy-drinking character. The cuvée is made from the Blauer Zweigelt, Blauer Wildbacher and Merlot grape varieties and combines the fruity elegance of local red wine varieties with a lively, youthful style.


The grapes come from selected south- to south-west-facing slopes at an altitude of 300 to 450 metres above sea level. The soils, consisting of basalt and deep volcanic rock, lend the wine its distinctive terroir character. Through careful manual leaf pruning, selective hand-harvesting and manual grape sorting, the utmost importance is placed on quality. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks, which optimally preserves the rosé’s freshness and fruitiness. Finely filtered and bottled with a screw cap, the Frauwallner Lilli Rosé 2025, with an alcohol content of 10.5% vol., is the ideal summer wine. It will be at its best between 2026 and 2028.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Frauwallner Lilli Rosé 2025 presents itself in a delicate shade of rosé with a fresh, vibrant appearance. On the nose, fruity aromas of raspberries and cherries unfold. On the palate, this rosé is juicy, lively and light, with a youthful character and harmonious freshness. The finish is pleasantly fruity, elegant and refreshing.

The Frauwallner Lilli Rosé 2025 pairs superbly with light, fruity starters, summery dishes and elegant desserts such as a strawberry and lemon tart. This Styrian rosé wine is also ideal as a creative alternative to classic aperitifs, for example as a ‘Lilli Spritz’ made with 0.1 l Lilli Rosé, 2 cl Miss Rosy Vermouth, a dash of soda water, ice and lime. Served at a temperature of 5–8 °C, its fresh and fruity character comes through particularly well.
