El Tequileño Blanco Tequila is an authentic 100% agave tequila from Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, with an alcohol content of 38% in a 1-litre bottle. It is produced by the long-established Destilería La Guarreña, which has been synonymous with high-quality tequilas since 1959 and is one of the region’s most respected producers. Only 100 per cent blue Weber agave, grown in the highlands and valleys around Tequila, is used for this Blanco tequila. Following gentle distillation in traditional copper stills, the tequila is left to rest for a short time in stainless steel tanks, allowing its aromas to blend harmoniously without losing the fresh agave character. A small proportion is also aged in large American oak casks, which lends the distillate greater depth and an exceptionally smooth texture.
