The Chabasse Napoléon Cognac comes from the traditional House of Chabasse, a prestigious Cognac distillery with roots dating back to the 19th century. Located in the Charente region, the family business has been combining French craftsmanship with innovative methods for generations to create particularly refined cognacs. The distillery attaches great importance to the careful selection of eaux-de-vie, which come from the best crus in the region and are matured in traditional Limousin oak barrels.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Complex bouquet with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, candied orange and a hint of oak.

Palate: Soft and full-bodied with flavours of caramel, honey, cinnamon and subtle roasted aromas from the oak barrels. Fine floral notes and a hint of chocolate provide an elegant depth.

Finish: Langs and smooth with spicy and slightly nutty notes that gently fade away.

This Napoléon Cognac is perfect for drinking neat at room temperature or slightly warmed to develop its full spectrum of flavours. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, mature cheese or fine cigars. It can also be used as an elegant base for exclusive cocktails such as a Sidecar or a Vieux Carré.
