This rum was distilled in 2002 and matured for over 20 years in carefully selected oak barrels before receiving a special finish in port wine barrels. This maturation gives the rum an exceptional depth and heaviness, combined with an expressive fruit and spice structure. The port barrels bring out intense flavours of dark berries, dried fruits and sweet-spicy wood notes, which combine perfectly with the rum's smooth vanilla and caramel base.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark mahogany with ruby reflections.

Nose: Intense with aromas of dark berries, dried figs, caramel and vanilla, complemented by fine oak spice and port wine notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied and deep with notes of honey, toffee, ripe plums, spicy oak and dark chocolate.

Finish: Langs, warm and elegant with a perfect balance of fruity, sweet and spicy accents.
