Produced in a small Spanish family distillery in Vilanova i la Geltrú, near Barcelona, this gin uses a unique selection of Mediterranean botanicals that make it unmistakable. With an alcohol content of 42.7% by volume, it offers a harmonious balance of classic juniper notes and Mediterranean herbs and spices.

Its special recipe sets it apart from traditional London Dry Gins. In addition to typical ingredients such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel, Gin Mare contains botanicals such as rosemary, basil, thyme and arbequina olives, which give it its distinctive Mediterranean flavour. Gentle distillation in copper stills preserves its fine flavours and ensures an intense taste experience that is equally impressive on its own or in cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear and brilliant.

Nose: Fresh herbs, citrus fruits, spicy juniper notes, light olive aromas.

Flavour: Soft and elegant, with notes of thyme, basil, rosemary and a slight saltiness from the Arbequina olives.

Finish: Long-lasting, slightly spicy with Mediterranean herbs and a hint of citrus.

Gin Mare is the perfect base for creative gin & tonic variations, preferably with Mediterranean tonic water and a garnish of rosemary sprigs or a green olive. It is ideal for cocktails such as the Negroni Mediterráneo or the refreshing Mare Mule with ginger beer and lime. In culinary terms, it harmonises particularly well with seafood, tapas or fresh antipasti, which complement its Mediterranean notes wonderfully.
