Description
Description
Flora and Fauna, a nickname given to the late whisky author Michael Jackson, was a themed series of single malt whisky bottlings released by distilleries only.
Each distillery was given a particular creature to symbolise, elegantly depicted on the beautiful label of each bottle.
Over time, as distilleries were commercialised, closed or sold, the range of flora and fauna dwindled, leaving these select remaining bottles as collector's items.
The Inchgower 14 Years Old is an enigma, with the aromatics and even the flavour constantly changing. A complex and interesting blend with a sweet palate and a bitter finish.
Tasting Note
Colour: Straw gold.
Nose: Sweet, floral, light, notes of toffee, fruit, nuts, acacia honey.
Flavour: Sweet, dry, salt, hint of oil.
Finish: Langs, bitter, almonds.
Inchgower is best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.
