Tasting Note

Colour: Warm gold.

Nose: Fruity aromas of red berries, honey and fine vanilla, accompanied by subtle oak notes.

Flavour: Soft and complex with notes of caramel, dried fruit, roasted nuts and a hint of smoke.

Finish: Long-lasting with spicy notes, oak and a slight maltiness.

This Japanese blended malt whisky is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate or mild goat's cheese. It is also perfect as an accompaniment to Japanese dishes such as grilled yakitori or sushi with smoked fish. For a modern twist, it can be used as the base for a whisky highball with Sodawasser and lemon zest to emphasise its fruity and malty notes.
