The Navy Island Rum Jamaica XO Reserve is an exquisite blend of the finest Jamaican rums that embodies the essence of traditional Caribbean distillation. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle, this rum represents the powerful yet balanced aroma for which Jamaican rums are known.

The rum owes its name to Navy Island, a small tropical island on the coast of Port Antonio, which has a close connection to the British Navy and its Langs seafaring tradition. The Navy Island Jamaica XO Reserve is a blend of various pot still & column still rums distilled in Jamaica. This high-quality blend is matured in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak, allowing the intense fruit, spice and wood flavours to develop perfectly.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Strong aromas of ripe bananas, exotic fruits, vanilla and a hint of toffee, accompanied by subtle spicy notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied, rich and well-balanced with notes of caramel, candied orange, nutmeg and a light oak note from the barrel maturation.

Finish: Langs and pleasantly warm, with a harmonious combination of tropical sweetness and spicy depth.

The Navy Island Jamaica XO Reserve is perfect for pure enjoyment to fully savour its strong, fruity and spicy aroma. It goes perfectly with dark chocolate, grilled pineapple or an intense espresso.
