Ron Vacilón Tradicional Añejo 7 Años is a classic Cuban rum full of character that epitomises authenticity, craftsmanship and tropical ageing. It is produced in the heart of Cuba, in Ciego de Ávila, by the Destilería Heriberto Duquesne, which is one of the most important production facilities under the umbrella of Cuba Roner S.A.. This rum is a true expression of Cuban distilling tradition - from the cultivation of the sugar cane to bottling.

Only Cuban molasses and spring water are used for this Añejo. It is matured for at least seven years in American white oak barrels, which gives the rum depth, warmth and elegance. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., the Ron Vacilón 7 Años is balanced, smooth and yet with a distinctive aromatic structure that sets it apart from younger qualities.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden brown with an amber sheen.

Nose: Complex with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, honey, roasted flavours and a hint of tobacco.

Flavour: Harmonious, round and smooth with aromas of toffee, caramel, oak, nuts and delicate spice.

Finish: Medium to long, warm and elegant with a pleasant wood-accentuated sweetness.

The Ron Vacilón Añejo 7 Años is ideal on its own at room temperature or on a large ice cube to enjoy its mature flavours. It is also ideal as a high-quality base for classic cocktails such as a Rum Old Fashioned, Rum Sour or a fine Cuba Libre.
