The English Whisky Co. Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold with warm, amber reflections.

Nose: Vanilla, aniseed and ginger cake with a savoury note of white pepper, peat and a hint of citrus zest.

Flavour: Light peat develops into stronger smoke, accompanied by vanilla, aniseed, Ingwerer, citrus and subtle tropical notes.

Finish: Spicy, smoky and long-lasting, with a warm, smouldering note in the aftertaste.

The English Smokey Single Malt Whisky unfolds its character best neat or with a drop of water to emphasise the fine smoky notes and spicy facets. It harmonises perfectly with grilled meat, smoked fish or strong cheeses and is also suitable as an accompaniment to dark chocolate or a mild cigar.
