Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin 40% Vol. 1 litre is a high-quality distilled dry gin from Italy that combines traditional gin history with modern Italian distillation techniques. The origins of gin go back to the Netherlands and are closely linked to the studies of Franciscus de la Boe, who researched the properties of juniper oils. From there, gin travelled to Great Britain and developed into one of the most important spirit categories in the world. With BACÛR Gin, the renowned house of Bottega is reinterpreting this tradition in an elegant, Mediterranean way.


Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin is produced in Veneto and composed exclusively from Italian botanicals. Tuscan juniper berries, sage leaves from Triveneto and lemon peel from Sicily are used, each of which is macerated separately in water and alcohol. Pure Alpine water is also used in the production process. The long maceration is followed by careful double distillation, which removes any undesirable accompanying notes and produces a particularly clear, elegant distillate. The quality of this dry gin is based not only on the selection of the plants, but also on the precise conditions under which the aromatic compounds are extracted. At 40% vol., this gin from Italy is balanced, finely structured and long-lasting. The generous 1-litre bottle is ideal for bars, restaurants and sophisticated home bars.

Tasting Note

Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin is ideal for a classic gin & tonic, ideally with a neutral tonic, garnished with lemon zest or a sage leaf. This distilled dry gin is also an excellent base for cocktails such as Martini, Negroni or Gin Sour. Enjoyed neat at a serving temperature of around 8-10 °C, it accompanies light starters, Mediterranean dishes, fish, seafood and fine antipasti and impresses with its clear, elegant and Italian-influenced style.
