Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a classic distilled dry gin that combines the historical origins of gin with modern Italian distillation techniques. The origins of gin date back to the Netherlands and are closely linked to the physician and physicist Franciscus de la Boe, who researched the effects of juniper essential oils. From there, gin found its way to Great Britain and quickly developed into one of the most influential spirit categories in Europe. With BACÛR Gin, the renowned house of Bottega takes up this tradition and reinterprets it with a clear Mediterranean signature.


This Italian gin is produced in Veneto using pure Alpine water and only botanicals of Italian origin. Tuscan juniper berries, sage leaves from Triveneto and lemon zest from Sicily are each macerated separately in water and alcohol over a long period of time. This is followed by careful double distillation, which removes unwanted accompanying notes and produces a particularly clear, elegant distillate. The characteristic style of this dry gin is based not only on the selection of botanicals, but also on the precise conditions under which the aromatic components are extracted. At 40% vol., Bottega BACÛR is balanced, finely structured and long-lasting.

Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin is ideal for a classic gin & tonic, ideally garnished with a neutral tonic and lemon zest or a sage leaf. It is equally impressive in cocktails such as Martini, Negroni or Gin Sour, where its clear juniper structure and Mediterranean herbal accents really come into their own.
