On the palate, it is velvety and well-structured with a pleasant sweetness that is perfectly balanced by a well-balanced acidity. Its long, fruity finish ensures a lingering flavour experience.

This fine Ruby Port is ideal as a dessert wine and harmonises particularly well with dark chocolate, fruit cake or mature cheese such as Stilton or Gorgonzola. It also unfolds its full flavour when served pure or slightly chilled as an aperitif.
