Maturation in hand-selected oak casks gives this whisky a harmonious combination of sweet, spicy and fruity notes, characterised by the characteristic softness and depth of the Edradour style. Traditional production in copper stills and ageing in the distillery's rustic warehouses creates a complexity that makes this whisky special.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Rich aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and toffee, complemented by a subtle spice of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of honey, dark caramel and candied orange, accompanied by a fine oak spice and a hint of exotic spices.

Finish: Langs and elegant with sweet malt notes, a slight hint of chocolate and lingering warmth.

This special Edradour 10 Years Old "Homage to Samoa" unfolds its full flavour best neat or with a few drops of water. For an enjoyable pairing, we recommend dark chocolate, fine caramel desserts or mature cheese.
