The Villa Lobos Distillation Strength Blanco Tequila 100% de Agave 55% Vol. 0.7 l is an exceptional tequila at cask strength, created for connoisseurs and lovers of authentic, unadulterated agave flavours. This powerful blanco is produced in the traditional Destilería La Alteña in the heart of Los Altos de Jalisco, where the conditions for growing the blue Weber agave are ideal. Behind this brand is the renowned master distiller Carlos Camarena, one of Mexico's best-known tequileros, who is recognised worldwide for the quality of his craftsmanship and traditionally produced premium tequilas.


The Villa Lobos Distillation Strength Blanco is made exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave, which is harvested after around eight years of maturation and then gently cooked in traditional stone ovens (hornos). After fermentation and double distillation, the tequila is bottled unfiltered at a distillation strength of 55% by volume - just as it comes straight from the still. Maturation in wood is deliberately avoided in order to preserve the pure character of the agave and emphasise the powerful structure that makes this Blanco so unique.


This tequila is a prime example of artisanal authenticity, intensity and naturalness. With its high drinking strength, it offers a deep, complex spectrum of flavours, ranging from the freshness of agave to spicy and earthy notes.
