The distillery, which is based in Forgue, Scotland, is known for its outstanding single malts, which develop an unmistakable depth and complexity thanks to their Langs maturation in high-quality sherry casks. The GlenDronach 10 Years Old Forgue matures for at least 10 years in a combination of Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it its characteristic variety of flavours.

This whisky is bottled in its natural colour, without artificial colouring, which preserves the authenticity and purity of the product. In addition, the GlenDronach distillery does not use chill-filtration, which allows the whisky to retain its rich texture and full flavours. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold, with a warm, radiant glow.

Nose: A complex bouquet of blood oranges, cherries, barley, chestnuts and spices that immediately tantalises the senses.

Flavour: Sweet and earthy, with fruity notes of oranges, sour cherries, redcurrants and a hint of barley that unfold harmoniously.

Finish: Langs on the palate, with spicy tobacco notes and a subtle touch of nutmeg rounding off the experience.

The GlenDronach 10 Years Old Forgue can be enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water to further develop the flavours. It is ideal with dark chocolate, especially dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, or mature hard cheeses such as Manchego or Gouda. This whisky is also an excellent choice with a fine dessert such as dark chocolate mousse or nuts.
