Tasting Note

Colour: Bright gold.

Nose: Floral and fruity notes of pear, apricot and white flowers, combined with hints of honey, vanilla and gentle spices from the Mizunara oak.

Taste: Soft and elegant with sweet flavours of caramel, toffee and roasted malt, accompanied by light coconut and sandalwood notes from the Mizunara maturation.

Finish: Langs and complex with spicy oak notes, subtle herbal tones and a hint of white pepper.

This fine Japanese single malt is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to bring out the Mizunara wood notes even more. It harmonises perfectly with sushi, grilled fish, blue cheese or dark chocolate. It is also an excellent choice as an accompaniment to a fine cigar or an elegant dessert such as matcha mousse.
