This bottling is characterised by a special triple cask maturation process in which the whisky is matured in three different types of cask.

The combination of ex-bourbon casks, American oak casks and ex-sherry casks gives this single malt exceptional depth and complexity. The bourbon casks provide sweet vanilla and caramel notes, the American oak gives it a fine spiciness, while the sherry casks add fruity and slightly nutty flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold.

Nose: Fruity notes of pears, apples and dried apricots, accompanied by vanilla, honey and a gentle oak note.

Flavour: Soft and round, with sweet malt, caramel, roasted almonds, gentle spices and a fine sherry sweetness.

Finish: Medium length, pleasantly warming with a hint of vanilla, honey and subtle oak flavours.
