Turquoise Bay Amber Rum comes from the idyllic island of Mauritius, one of the most fascinating dream islands in the Indian Ocean and an immediate neighbour of the world-famous island of Madagascar. Mauritius is known for its extensive sugar cane plantations, which cover around 90% of the island and form the basis for the traditional rum production.

The Turquoise Bay Amber Rum is carefully matured in American oak barrels and consists of a harmonious blend of 8-, 5- and 3-year-old rums, all from Mauritius. The use of molasses and sugar cane juice, which are characteristic of this region, gives the rum its special depth and complexity.

This unique composition captures the spirit and exotic beauty of Mauritius and reflects the essence of the island in every bottle, creating an unrivalled flavour experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Sweet vanilla, candied fruit, light caramel notes, subtle spice.

Flavour: Soft and full-bodied, notes of honey, dried fruit, fine wood and a hint of chocolate.

Finish: Medium length, gently spicy with lingering sweetish nuances.
