Del Maguey VIDA Mezcal Clásico 42% vol. 0.7 l is an authentic mezcal artesanal from Oaxaca, Mexico, carefully crafted by hand from 100% Espadín agave. It forms part of Del Maguey’s VIDA range and is regarded as one of the best-known and most popular bottlings amongst connoisseurs and bartenders worldwide. Production follows centuries-old traditions: the agave hearts are slowly cooked in wood-fired earth pits, ground using a traditional tahona stone mill, fermented in open wooden casks and then distilled twice in copper stills.


At 42% ABV, Del Maguey VIDA Clásico is a well-balanced mezcal with a characteristic smoky character and subtle sweetness. It is highly versatile – suitable for drinking neat or in cocktails – and offers an excellent interplay of fruitiness, spice and earthy smokiness.
