Unlike industrial rums, fresh sugar cane juice - not molasses - is used here, which gives the rum a particularly aromatic depth and original complexity.

Mhoba American Oak Aged is matured in the company's own burnt-out American white oak barrels, which gives it its golden colour and notes of vanilla, oak and roasted aromas. Barrel ageing in the South African climate ensures intensive maturation and a harmonious combination of fruit, wood and spices. Distillation takes place in small batches in pot stills built in-house, giving the rum an unmistakable identity and precision craftsmanship.
