This whisky is matured over a period of 13 years in ex-bourbon casks and then receives a special finish in Chinkapin oak casks. Chinkapin oak, a subspecies of American white oak, is mainly found in the eastern part of the USA and gives the whisky unique flavours of wood and spices that make it a real treat. With an alcohol content of 47.5% vol., the Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO offers a perfect balance between strength and elegance.

The choice of Chinkapin oak for the finish of this whisky is a key feature that gives the Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO its special character. This oak contributes to the development of fine wood flavours and an additional complexity that makes the whisky even rounder and fuller-bodied. Colour: Golden amber colour with a slight copper hue.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, tropical fruits, dried apricots and a subtle smokiness accompanied by the woody notes of Chinkapin oak.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex, with a harmonious blend of fruity notes, sweet caramel and a subtle smokiness supported by the oak and a hint of spice.

Finish: Langs and warm, with a beautiful balance of oak, smoke and a gentle sweetness that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

The Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO is perfect for drinking neat, ideally at room temperature or slightly chilled to allow the complex flavours to fully develop. This whisky goes perfectly with spicy dishes such as grilled meat, lamb or strong cheeses such as blue cheese and mature cheddar, which complement the intense woody and smoky notes of the whisky.
