Roner Malecon owes its name to the famous "Malecon" waterfront promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, which is known for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist who laid the foundations for Ron Malecon with his passion for high-quality rum. Ron Malecon is distilled using the traditional Cuban method from molasses in Panama, using copper column stills.

The Rum Malecon Añejo 13 Años Rare Proof 2006 is a limited edition from the Malecon distillery that represents a special vintage and is highly regarded for its rarity, exceptional quality and unique characteristics.

This rum is made from carefully selected sugar cane and is matured for 13 years, developing its special depth and complexity through this long ageing process. The "2006" in the name refers to the year of distillation, which makes this vintage rum even more exclusive.
