This exclusive rum limited edition combines hand-picked rums from Guyana and Barbados, which are each aged for at least 10 years in their countries of origin. The first maturation phase takes place traditionally in ex-bourbon barrels, creating structure, depth and a clear basic character. After careful blending of the individual distillates, the blend is matured for a further 5 years in ex Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which gives this double-aged rum its exceptional elegance and aromatic density.


Bottled at 40 %, Dos Maderas LUXUS Rum is harmonious, smooth and complex at the same time. The long ageing in sherry casks not only shapes the character, but also the deep colour and the luxurious overall impression. Dos Maderas LUXUS Double Aged Rum is ideal for pure enjoyment at room temperature and really comes into its own as a digestif after a full meal. It harmonises perfectly with chocolate-based desserts, such as dark chocolate tart, brownies or cocoa desserts, as well as with dried fruit, dates or figs. It also makes a harmonious combination with mature hard cheeses, nut desserts or fine pastries with caramel and vanilla flavours.
