Silent Pool ROSE EXPRESSION Gin is an elegant premium gin from England, bottled at 43 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle, which combines the characteristic style of the classic Silent Pool Gin with a particularly floral interpretation. It is produced at the Silent Pool Distillery near the mysterious Silent Pool near Guildford in south-east England. The distillery’s name derives from a legendary lake, around which an old British legend revolves concerning the ghost of a girl who drowned there. The gin is distilled in traditional copper stills, using a total of 24 carefully selected botanicals, predominantly sourced from the region. Alongside classic juniper, the elaborately composed recipe includes, amongst others, cassia, lavender, camomile, honey, kaffir lime, cubeb pepper, cardamom, aniseed, mint and lemon.


The ROSE EXPRESSION Gin builds on this tried-and-tested foundation, whilst also bringing the flavours of pear, bergamot, cubeb pepper, cardamom and lemon to the fore. A delicate infusion of rose petals lends it its elegant floral note, without overpowering the classic juniper character. The result is an exceptionally well-balanced London Dry-style gin that harmoniously combines floral elegance, spicy depth and fresh citrus notes, and is a delight both neat and as a gin and tonic.

Silent Pool ROSE EXPRESSION Gin is ideal for a gin and tonic made with Indian tonic water or elderflower tonic, garnished with rose petals, a twist of grapefruit, fresh raspberries or a thin slice of pear. It also pairs beautifully in a French 75, a Gin Fizz or a floral Gin Spritz. On the culinary front, this premium gin pairs particularly well with smoked salmon, goat’s cheese, duck breast, prosciutto, fresh goat’s cheese with honey, macarons, panna cotta, strawberry or raspberry desserts, as well as lemon tart, whose delicate flavours perfectly complement the gin’s floral and spicy notes.
