The Penny Blue VSOP Single Estate Rum is a fine bottling from the island of Mauritius that is characterised by its origin, craftsmanship and a balanced interplay of flavours. Named after the famous and extremely rare "Blue Penny" stamp, which also comes from Mauritius, this rum stands for exclusivity and authenticity. It is produced in the traditional Medine Distillery, the oldest still active distillery on the island, which has been producing high-quality rum continuously since 1926.

The VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) rum is distilled from fresh sugar cane juice and molasses and then matured for several years in a combination of ex-cognac, bourbon and whisky barrels. This gives it a complex but wonderfully balanced flavour profile with fine wood aromas, tropical fruit and elegant sweetness. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, the Penny Blue VSOP is pleasantly accessible without losing any of its depth - ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate high-quality rums with a clear origin and character.
