La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc 16% vol. 0.75 litre is a high-quality French Vermouth created by the renowned spirit maker Jean-Sébastien Robicquet. The Vermouth Linie is a tribute to Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the garden architect of the French Sun King Louis XIV, who designed the famous kitchen garden at Versailles. This historical heritage is also reflected in the design, as each bottle bears the Fleur de Lys, the heraldic symbol of the French monarchy. Launched in 2014, the Vermouth collection is based on wines and Pineau des Charentes, a traditional blend of unfermented grape must and eau-de-vie de Cognac from the IGP Charentais wine-growing region in south-west France. The composition is complemented by a carefully selected blend of 18 botanicals, including wormwood, vine blossom and other aromatic herbs and spices. The Royal Blanc is then matured for twelve months in French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and complexity.


The combination of traditional recipe, regional origin and artisanal care gives this Vermouth an elegant, harmonious structure and makes it a characterful representative of French Vermouth culture. The production is based on an approach that combines exceptional quality with flavourful finesse and makes Royal Blanc versatile both on its own and in classic and modern cocktails. Tasting Note

Pale gold in the glass. Fresh and slightly sweet notes of citrus fruits and apricots on the nose, accompanied by orange peel and floral and vegetal nuances such as sage, rosemary, lavender, hay, pine and honeysuckle. Oily body on the palate with bittersweet accents of ripe yellow fruit, lemon sorbet, oranges, plus liquorice, lavender and cloves. The finish is of medium length, slightly fruity and savoury, elegant and long-lasting.

Vermouth Royal Blanc is perfect for classic aperitif moments and is ideal for cocktails such as White Negroni, Martini variations or fresh highballs with tonic or soda. It also harmonises well with Mediterranean starters, mild cheeses, salted almonds, marinated vegetables or light fish dishes. It unfolds its complex herbal structure particularly impressively on the rocks. Its versatile flavour makes it an elegant all-rounder that has a special place both in fine dining and in the creative home bar.
