After maturing for 14 years under ideal conditions, this single malt develops a wonderfully harmonious interplay of typical Speyside fruit flavours and American cask spice. The whisky is bottled at 43% vol. - slightly stronger than many standard bottlings - and therefore remains intense and full-bodied in expression. The characterful bourbon cask maturation brings notes of vanilla, toffee, oak spice and caramelised fruit to the fore.
