Hampden Estate Rum RUM FIRE White Overproof Rum is an uncompromising Jamaican white rum with a robust 63 per cent alcohol content in a 0.7-litre bottle. Rum Fire was developed with the aim of authentically expressing Hampden Estate Rum’s characteristic, full-bodied pot-still style even in an unaged white rum. It is based on molasses, which undergoes a particularly long fermentation process using wild yeasts. This traditional process plays a key role in creating the exceptionally intense flavour profile for which the historic Hampden Estate Distillery in Jamaica is internationally renowned. Distillation then takes place exclusively in copper pot stills, resulting in an extremely aromatic, ester-rich rum with a high concentration of flavour.


As a white overproof rum from Jamaica, Hampden Rum Fire is bottled without any flavour-altering cask ageing, thereby placing the distillery’s original character particularly clearly in the spotlight. Its high ester content, traditional fermentation and pot-still distillation give it that typical Jamaican ‘funk’, which clearly distinguishes Rum Fire from lighter white rums. At 63% ABV, it also possesses sufficient intensity to stand out clearly even in complex cocktails.
