The Dictador BEST OF 1987 APASIONADO Colombian Rum is an outstanding, 30-year matured bottling from the exclusive "Best Of" series from the renowned Colombian distillery Dictador. This rare edition comes from a single, carefully selected barrel and was bottled at 43% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle. The "Apasionado" variant is characterised by its special sweetness and depth, which is achieved through sophisticated ageing in ex-sherry and ex-port wine barrels.

Dictador is known for its Solera methods, combined with traditional column distillation from Virgin Sugar Cane Honey, which gives this rum its elegant smoothness and complexity. Each bottle of this limited edition is numbered and is a true collector's item for lovers of fine, mature rums.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with amber reflections.

Nose: Intense notes of dark caramel, honey, sultanas, candied fruit, vanilla and fine oak spice.

Flavour: Velvety and complex, with aromas of dried plums, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, espresso and a hint of orange marmalade.

Finish: Langs, soft and harmonious, with lingering sweet notes, fine spice and a hint of leather and tobacco.
