The basis is a blended Irish whiskey made from malt and grain whiskey, which is first matured in ex-bourbon casks. It is then given a special finish in Imperial Stout beer barrels, which give it exceptional depth and new nuances of flavour. The combination of whiskey and craft beer creates an exciting interplay of flavours of sweet maltiness, roasted notes, dark chocolate and creamy richness. Colour: Deep gold with copper reflections.

Nose: Malty-sweet, with notes of dark beer, toffee, cocoa and roasted cereals.

Flavour: Creamy and round, characterised by chocolate, caramel, malt, vanilla and a light hop spiciness.

Finish: Medium to long, warming, with roasted malt and a sweet and spicy aftertaste.

The Whistler Imperial Stout Finish is perfect for pure enjoyment or with a drop of water to develop the flavours even better. It is particularly exciting when paired with a dark stout beer to emphasise the similarities.
