Produced by Citadelle at the picturesque Château de Bonbonnet in the heart of the Cognac region, this gin is distilled in copper pot stills. The base for the gin is a distillate of high-quality French wheat, which has been triple-distilled beforehand to ensure a particularly pure base. This exceptional base is combined with a carefully selected infusion of 22 different fruits and botanicals, which give this gin its distinctive, fresh flavour.

The botanicals include a variety of ingredients that give the gin a wonderfully complex yet refreshing depth. Juniper berries, citrus fruits such as lemons and yuzu zest and exotic ingredients such as melons and Sichuan pepper give this gin a fruity freshness, while spicy notes of cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon round off the character. Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear with a hint of silver.

Nose: Fresh citrus notes of lemons, yuzu zest and orange peel, accompanied by floral aromas and a light spiciness of cardamom and nutmeg.

Taste: Refreshing and lively with intense flavours of citrus, melon and a spicy depth of Sichuan pepper and cinnamon. The gin unfolds gently with flavours of star anise, violets and a delicate sweetness.

Finish: Langs and harmonious, with a slightly peppery finish accompanied by the floral and fruity flavours.

Citadelle Jardin D'ÉTÉ Gin is ideal for classic gin cocktails such as a gin and tonic, with a high-quality tonic water and a garnish of lemon zest or melon pieces to enhance the flavours.
