The Janneau distillery, founded in 1851, is now one of the oldest and most renowned Armagnac houses in France. Carefully selected Ugni Blanc and Baco grapes are used for the Janneau XO Grand Armagnac, which are traditionally double-distilled in copper stills. The Armagnac is then aged for at least ten years in French Limousin oak barrels, allowing it to develop its unmistakable character. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark, shiny amber with mahogany reflections.

Nose: Elegant woody notes, dried fruit, plums, fine spices, vanilla, subtle hint of leather.

Flavour: Full-bodied and velvety, nuances of dried fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, nutty tones, subtle oak notes.

Finish: Langs, soft and warming, with a noble woody note and subtle sweetness.
