Poli Grappa Cleopatra Amarone Oro is a particularly elegant and aromatic grappa from Italy, made from the noble pomace of the Amarone grape. Produced by the renowned Poli distillery, which has been synonymous with excellence in the art of distillation since 1898, this grappa combines tradition with modern technology. It is distilled from the pomace of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varieties - the typical grapes of Amarone della Valpolicella - which gives it an exceptional depth of flavour.

The distillation process is carried out using an innovative vacuum distillation method, which is particularly gentle and optimally preserves the fine flavours. After distillation, the grappa matures in small oak barrels, giving it a smooth, harmonious structure with pleasant vanilla and wood flavours. Tasting Note

Colour: Golden yellow with amber reflections.

Nose: Intense aromas of ripe red fruit, dried fruit, vanilla, fine spices and a light woody note.

Flavour: Soft and full-bodied, with hints of dark cherries, sultanas, honey, oak and a hint of cocoa.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and elegant with fruity, spicy nuances.

This fine grappa unfolds its full flavour best enjoyed neat at a slightly chilled temperature of 16-18 °C in a tulip glass. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, nuts or a piece of mature cheese. It is also an excellent choice as a digestif after a rich meal. For those who like it more refined, it can be used as a special ingredient for a full-bodied espresso cocktail or as a finishing touch to a dessert such as tiramisu or panna cotta.
