The rye is distilled together with corn and malted barley malt and matured in toasted oak barrels, giving it a particularly balanced flavour with a blend of sweet, spicy and woody notes. The maturation in the casks ensures a balanced complexity and depth, which is perfectly emphasised by the high alcohol strength of the whisky.
