Part of the exclusive 2 Masters series, this limited edition rum combines the expertise of Hernan Parra, Master Blender at Dictador, and José Antonio Zarzana, winemaker and owner of the prestigious Ximénez-Spínola sherry bodega.

This rum comes from a single vintage cask from 1976 and was matured for an incredible 45 years before being given a special 9-month finish in 50-year-old French Oak Pedro Ximénez casks. The ageing in these historic sherry casks gives the rum a unique flavour that blurs the boundaries between rum and sherry.

With only 390 bottles worldwide, this rum is a real rarity for collectors and connoisseurs who appreciate the highest quality and exclusivity. The elaborate ageing process and innovative barrel finishing make it a spirits masterpiece of unrivalled depth and elegance.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with copper reflections.

Nose: Intense aromas of dried fruit, figs and dates, accompanied by notes of honey, dark chocolate and toasted wood.

Flavour: Full-bodied and velvety with a perfect balance of sweet sherry notes, toffee, vanilla and spicy oak.

Finish: Extremely long-lasting, deep and complex with nuances of caramel, espresso and subtle sherry tones.

This exceptional rum is best enjoyed neat to fully experience its incredible depth of flavour and structure. It harmonises perfectly with fine cigars, dark chocolate with a high cocoa content or mature cheese such as Manchego or blue cheese. It also unfolds its unique flavours particularly intensively as an accompaniment to a high-quality espresso or sherry dessert.
