The boutique winery Heredad Segura Viudas is located just outside Barcelona, Spain, in the sunny vineyards of the ancient Penedès wine region. The origins of this winery date back to the 11th century.

The winery emphasises biodiversity and is certified as a winery for climate protection.

The grapes for Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé are harvested and processed by hand. The first and second fermentations are carried out with the winery's own selected yeast.

The Trepat is macerated for 24 hours at 12-14°C. The Garnacha is macerated for 12 hours at 16-18°C to enhance the flavour. The Pinot Noir is responsible for the spicy note and is macerated in the trailer on the way to the winery.

Tasting Note

A fruity cava made from a cuvée of selected top wines. The Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé is characterised by its fruity and fresh body. This is where Spanish temperament and sensual, sparkling passion meet.

A pink-red colour in the glass. Fruity and clear aromas of strawberries and grenadines on the nose and palate. Long-lasting and wonderfully delicate on the finish.

Grape varieties: 40% Trepat, 20% Garnacha, 40% Pinot Noir.

Acidity: 3.6 g/litre.

Drinking temperature: 6-8°C.

The Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé goes very well with starters, sweet desserts or fish dishes.
