Jack Daniel's Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey epitomises the craftsmanship of the traditional distillery from Lynchburg, Tennessee. This bottling does not come from a standardised batch, but is selected on a barrel-by-barrel basis, using only barrels with a particularly strong character from the upper rows of warehouses. This is where the temperature fluctuations are greatest, resulting in more intensive maturation and a distinctive flavour profile. Each bottle thus represents an individual cask and emphasises Jack Daniel's claim to combine traditional production methods with selective quality.


This Tennessee whiskey is made from corn, rye and malted barley and undergoes the charcoal mellowing process typical of Jack Daniel's before being stored in barrels. In this process, the distillate is filtered drop by drop through layers of charcoal made from sugar maple several metres thick. The subsequent maturation takes place in new, heavily charred American white oak barrels. Bottled at 47%, non-chill-filtered and complemented by a high-quality gift box with snifter glass, this bottling presents itself as an expressive and authentic interpretation of classic Tennessee whiskey.

Tasting Note

Colour: Rich amber with copper reflections.

Nose: Intense notes of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel and ripe fruit.

Flavour: Full-bodied with sweet caramel, toffee, spices, dark chocolate and distinctive oak spice.

Finish: Langs, warm, with dry wood notes and a fine sweetness.
