Decades of maturation ensure impressive complexity and balance. Rich Pedro Ximénez sherry notes blend with dark fruits, fine spices and an elegant nuttiness. Despite the intense influence of the sherry cask, the whisky remains superbly balanced and never feels overbearing. On the palate, a compote of apricots, dates, dried figs and plums unfolds, accompanied by chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, caramel sweets and roasted hazelnuts and walnuts. As it matures, subtle tannins and an elegant mineral structure emerge, culminating in a long, dry and harmonious finish with dark sherry notes and a hint of menthol. Colour: Deep mahogany.

Nose: Intense Pedro Ximénez sherry notes, cherries, blueberries, walnuts, almonds, curry, rosemary and oriental spices.

Palate: Full-bodied with apricot compote, dried figs, dates, plums, chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, caramel, toasted hazelnuts and walnuts, and delicate tannins.

Finish: Exceptionally long, intense and harmonious with dark sherry notes, a pleasant nuttiness, mineral undertones and a subtle hint of menthol.
