Ron Esclavo is a premium rum brand renowned for its high-quality, handcrafted spirits. The brand was founded by the Danish entrepreneur and rum enthusiast Henrik Kristofferson, who fell in love with the Dominican Republic and its rum traditions. The name Ron Esclavo means ‘slave rum’ in Spanish and evokes the historical link between rum production and the history of slavery in the Caribbean. Ron Esclavo is dedicated to producing rums of exceptional quality, using traditional production methods and carefully selected ingredients. Ron Esclavo Islay Whisky is made from fresh sugarcane juice and is initially matured in American and French oak casks. It is then given a second finish for 9 months in ex-Islay whisky casks, which imparts a subtle smoky note and additional complexity.

The release is limited to 1,821 bottles and offers a unique tasting experience that harmoniously blends the flavours of rum and whisky.
