This exclusive bottling comes from Dictador's highly regarded 2 Masters series, in which the Colombian Master Blender Hernan Parra collaborates with world-renowned experts from other spirits and wine worlds. In this edition, Dictador meets Dirk Niepoort, the Master Blender of the traditional Portuguese winery Niepoort, which is known for its legendary port wines.

At the heart of this rum are the rare, long-matured distillates from the 1971, 1974, 1978 and 1980 vintages. After decades of maturation in oak barrels in Colombia, the rum was stored for a final refinement in port pipes over 50 years old at Niepoort in Portugal. This special port wine finish gives the rum a unique complexity, depth and sweet fruitiness that makes it an unrivalled masterpiece.

Colour: Deep mahogany with ruby reflections.

Nose: Intense notes of dried plums, sultanas and dark berries, accompanied by fine notes of wood and spices.

Finish: Exceptionally long, velvety and deep with a harmonious interplay of sweet fruit, spicy oak and fine roasted notes.
