The Wiener Hofburg Rosé Trocken is an elegant sparkling wine that combines the Austrian sparkling wine tradition with a tribute to one of the country's most important buildings - the Hofburg in Vienna. This historic building was erected in the 13th century and was the residence of the Habsburg monarchy until 1918. Since 1946, it has served as the official residence of the Austrian Federal President and, in addition to a magnificent ballroom, also houses museums and parts of the Austrian National Library.

This exclusive sparkling wine is produced 100% in Austria and made according to the high-quality Méthode Traditionelle, in which the second fermentation takes place in the bottle. This elaborate process gives the Wiener Hofburg Rosé its fine, long-lasting perlage and complex flavour. The dry style ensures a perfect balance between freshness, fruitiness and elegance - ideal for festive occasions or as a stylish aperitif.

Tasting Note

The Wiener Hofburg Rosé Trocken presents itself in the glass in a bright salmon pink colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The bouquet unfolds seductive aromas of fresh raspberries, strawberries and juicy cherries, accompanied by floral notes and a fine citrus freshness. On the palate, it is elegant and lively, with a harmonious acidity structure and a hint of brioche, which comes from the traditional bottle fermentation. The finish is long and pleasant, characterised by red berries and a fine mineral note.

This elegant rosé sparkling wine is ideal as an aperitif or for special occasions. It goes perfectly with seafood, sushi, light summer salads and Mediterranean starters. It is also an excellent choice with grilled fish, poultry or mild cheeses. Its freshness and fine perlage also harmonise wonderfully with fruity desserts such as strawberry tarts or lemon sorbet.
