The González Byass NECTAR Pedro Ximénez Sherry Dulce is an intense, full-bodied dessert wine from the renowned González Byass bodega in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia. This noble sweet sherry is made from 100% Pedro Ximénez, a grape variety steeped in tradition. The grapes are sun-dried after harvesting, which gives them a high sugar content and a particularly concentrated flavour. The wine is aged in the classic Solera system, which is typical of the sherry region, and allows the wine to mature in a controlled manner with depth and complexity.

With an alcohol content of 15% vol. and the typical, almost syrupy density, Nectar Pedro Ximénez is a powerful representative of its kind. Tasting Note

In the glass, the sherry presents itself in a dark mahogany brown colour with golden reflections. The nose reveals dense aromas of sultanas, figs, dates and dried plums, complemented by notes of caramel, cocoa and lightly roasted nuts. On the palate, it is syrupy, velvety and soft, with a pronounced sweetness, dense texture and an aromatic, creamy finish.

González Byass Nectar PX is an excellent classic dessert wine - ideal with blue cheeses such as Roquefort, Gorgonzola or Stilton. It is also a perfect accompaniment to chocolate desserts, vanilla ice cream, caramelised nuts or chocolate mousse. In the kitchen, it adds a subtle depth to sauces for game dishes or stews.
