Palomino Fino, the classic grape variety of the Jerez region, forms the basis. After an initial maturation under the flor yeast, this Palo Cortado develops into a multi-layered, concentrated sherry with character and expression through oxidative maturation in old oak barrels in the Solera system. Every drop of this sherry reflects the traditional craftsmanship and decades of ageing culture of Andalusia.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Palo Cortado Antique has an intense amber colour with a copper shimmer. The nose reveals complex aromas of hazelnuts, orange zest, fine spices, dried figs and fine wood smoke. The palate is dry, silky and powerful at the same time, with a brilliant structure, elegant acidity, slightly salty minerality and a long, profound finish. The wine combines precision, maturity and aromatic depth at the highest level.
