Rodnik's Classic comes from Spain, one of the few countries where the production of real absinthe has never been interrupted. With a high alcohol content of 70% by volume, this absinthe offers an intense herbal composition that is a delight both neat and in cocktails.

Made from a fine blend of wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), aniseed, fennel and various Mediterranean herbs, Rodnik's Classic Absinthe combines a balanced flavour profile with a pleasant bitterness. Its strong, spicy flavour and typical aniseed finish make it a versatile spirit with a long tradition.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light green with light golden reflections.

Nose: Intense vermouth notes, dominant aniseed, light citrus notes and subtle herbal aromas.

Flavour: Powerful, spicy, with a combination of vermouth bitterness, sweet aniseed, fennel and floral herbal nuances.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry, with a persistent balance between bitterness and sweet herbal flavours.

Serve according to the classic absinthe ritual method with cold water and sugar cubes. Slowly pouring in ice-cold water creates the typical louche effect (milky cloudiness), which releases the essential oils from the aniseed and herbs. For an intense flavour experience, it can be enjoyed neat in small quantities or on ice. Perfect for mixed drinks such as the classic Absinthe Drip, Death in the Afternoon (with champagne) or as an aromatic ingredient in a Sazerac cocktail.
