Loch Lomond The Original Triple Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an expressive example of the Scottish art of distilling from the traditional Loch Lomond Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. For this bottling, the distillery uses both straight-necked and swan-necked pot stills, which allows it to create different flavour profiles and then artfully combine them. After distillation, the whisky is matured in a combination of first fill, refill and recharred American oak casks, which give it its characteristic depth and harmonious complexity.


Loch Lomond The Original Triple Oak develops its fine balance of fruitiness, honey sweetness and gentle smoke in these three different cask types. The interplay of fresh wood, toasted oak and multiple casks ensures multi-layered flavours and a gentle structure. Master blender Michael Henry describes this whisky as "an interplay of malt, fruit and subtle smoke - perfectly balanced and elegant".


Bottled at 40% vol., this single malt is accessible and round, yet complex and full of character. The Triple Oak embodies the typical style of Loch Lomond - fruity, honeyed and slightly smoky with a warm, creamy mouthfeel.

Colour: Golden yellow with a slight amber sheen.
