Released by the independent German bottler Liquid Treasures, this whisky is part of the imaginatively designed "Wonderland" series, which stands for high-quality, characterful bottlings. Matured in a carefully selected cask (often with a special finish or a sherry finish), this single malt impresses with its depth, clarity and natural expression. Bottled at 52.8% cask strength, without chill-filtration or colouring, this whisky is clearly aimed at lovers of authentic, unadulterated malts.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden yellow with a warm glow.

Nose: Fresh and elegant with notes of citrus, light-coloured fruit, malt, vanilla and a hint of oak spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and strong with aromas of pear, apple, sweet cereals, vanilla cream and a fine wood structure.

Finish: Long-lasting, warming and balanced with fruity sweetness and gentle spicy notes.

Best enjoyed neat in a nosing glass, ideally at room temperature. If you want to soften the cask strength a little, you can add a few drops of still water to open up the flavour spectrum even further.
